Chicago native Ashley Garland moved to Los Angeles to continue her career as an actress, singer and songwriter.
Ashley began acting in the exciting Chicago theater scene at an early age. She made her professional debut in the premiere of Big The Musical, helmed by Broadway director Gary Griffin. After numerous leading roles in plays and musicals, she expanded her interest into the music industry and began to record and play shows in Chicago. This led to a number one hit on Midwest's top 40 station 100.7 The Bus.
With an impressive live history, Ashley has opened for acts such as Justin Bieber, Sean Kingston, The Jonas Brothers, Teddy Geiger, Jordan Knight and Aaron Carter and sang a duet with Def Leppard on their “X” tour. She has appeared in venues all over the country including The House of Blues, Navy Pier, Hard Rock Cafe and Live Nation Amphitheater. Most recently, she was an opening act for a national Radio Disney tour and Justin Bieber at California's largest music festival, the Midstate Fair.
Ashley is currently writing and recording for Radio Disney, Alex Kane of the UK glam rock band Anti Product and for the tv and film music licensing company Beat Chamber. She currently studies acting with James Reese.
Ashley is a member of ASCAP Songwriting/Publishing as well as the Actor's Equity Membership Candidate (EMC) Program.
